Born and raised in Joplin Missouri, Jeremy’s childhood was defined by a devotion to the game of tennis. Tennis allowed him to travel outside Missouri and ultimately receive a scholarship to play for the University of Minnesota, where he discovered a new mode of expression through filmmaking.

Having received a degree in film studies and digital journalism, Lynn found his footing in New York’s non-fiction film industry, where he worked as a researcher on Oscar-Winner Alex Gibney’s tennis documentary, Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker.

While working as a researcher at Gibney’s production house, Jigsaw, Lynn wrote, directed and edited his first short film, The Hunter’s Lament which has started it’s run in film festivals around the world.
